Lip filler in Korea: choosing a product, comparing prices and understanding skin boosters
A little more fullness, a clearer lip border, or a shape that feels more balanced—these are different reasons to consider lip filler. You don't need to arrive with a brand or a dose already chosen. Start with the change you'd like, then compare what the product and price actually include.

What would you like to change?
Lip filler may be worth discussing if you want to add fullness, define the border or adjust proportions. If your main concern is dryness or cracked lips, start by looking at skin care and the cause of the irritation. Adding volume may leave that concern untouched.
A consultation helps turn “I'd like fuller lips” into a plan for your own anatomy. Bring a few reference photos if they help explain your taste, but treat them as a conversation starter rather than a promised result.
Which product should you choose?
Hyaluronic-acid (HA) fillers are injectable gels that can add fullness and shape. Their formulations vary, and a brand such as Juvéderm or Restylane includes more than one model. The useful question is: “Which exact product would you use for my goal, and why?” [FDA filler overview](https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/aesthetic-cosmetic-devices/dermal-fillers-soft-tissue-fillers).
REDI Dermatology's August 2026 material names Rejuviel W, Belotero Soft and a Juvéderm / Restylane option. The last entry needs a specific model name before you can make a proper product comparison. We don't have a verified basis here for ranking these options by softness, swelling or how long they last. Choose with the clinician's explanation of your goal, rather than a price or country-of-origin ranking.
What do the prices look like?
REDI Dermatology's August 2026 material gives these reference prices for lip filler with Dr. Min Jung:
| Product listed | Amount | Before VAT | With 10% VAT | | --- | --- | ---: | ---: | | Rejuviel W | 1cc | KRW 290,000 | KRW 319,000 | | Belotero Soft | 1cc | KRW 490,000 | KRW 539,000 | | Juvéderm / Restylane, model to be confirmed | 1cc | KRW 680,000 | KRW 748,000 |
Based on August 2026 clinic material, reviewed 14 October 2026. VAT 10% is additional; confirm the price that applies to your appointment. The last column includes the calculated VAT.
Think of 1cc as a price unit, not an amount you must use. A helpful quote also names the exact product and clinician, the planned amount, and whether numbing, aftercare and any follow-up or touch-up charges are included. Would a skin booster do the same thing?
Usually, this is a question about two different goals. Lip filler is considered for fullness and shape. “Skin booster” covers a range of products aimed at skin concerns, so the exact formula and treatment site matter.
For example, SKINVIVE's US labeling concerns smoother cheek skin. That makes it a useful example of a skin-quality goal, but not a substitute for adding lip volume. An injectable suited to one area isn't automatically the right choice for another. [SKINVIVE patient information](https://www.rxabbvie.com/pdf/skinvive_pt_lb.pdf).
If you want a different lip outline, discuss a lip-filler plan. If you mainly want help with dryness or irritation, discuss that concern first. You may decide that ordinary lip care—or no procedure for now—is the better starting point.
What to know before treatment
Some swelling, bruising and tenderness can follow an injection, so give your lips time to settle before judging the shape. Tell the clinician about previous filler, cold sores, allergies, medication, pregnancy or breastfeeding; these can affect the plan. Don't stop prescribed medicine on your own.
Rarely, filler can enter a blood vessel and cause serious harm, including tissue damage, vision problems or stroke. Unusual pain, white skin or a change in vision during or shortly after treatment needs immediate medical attention—don't wait for a booking-message reply. Before you leave, get clear aftercare advice and a medical contact for concerns. Follow the instructions for your actual product and treatment, including care around sun and extreme temperatures while redness or swelling remains. Persistent lumps or increasing redness should be assessed. HA filler can sometimes be reduced with hyaluronidase, but correction has its own risks; it isn't a risk-free reset. Fit the appointment into your trip
Leave room for a consultation and, if needed, a review before an important event or departure. Keep the product record and clinic contact details, and arrange how you'll get help after returning home. Have concerning symptoms assessed before travelling.
When asking GREY about an appointment, share your travel dates, previous filler and language needs. That makes it easier to check a realistic appointment and follow-up plan.
A few questions you may still have
**Do I need a full 1cc?** Not necessarily. The amount should follow your goal and examination, not the price-table unit.
**Is the most expensive option the best?** Price alone can't tell you which product or technique suits you. Ask what the specific model brings to your plan.
**Will I need a touch-up?** That depends on the assessment after the initial treatment. Ask how a review and any additional treatment would be priced before booking.
