Choosing a Seoul clinic: budget, doctor and consultation
You can care about cost and the clinician at the same time. Use separate criteria to compare a clinic visit that fits your priorities.

At a glance
- Keep budget and doctor criteria separate.
- Compare the same confirmed appointment details.
- Choose after pending questions are answered.

Choose priorities that can coexist
“Within my budget” and “I want an appropriate clinician assessment” are compatible preferences. A price range is a practical constraint, not a label for a clinic’s skill. Start with the concern you want assessed, your available dates and anything you will not compromise on. You can keep several priorities rather than choosing a cheap-versus-premium category.
Make the doctor preference specific
Decide what you want to confirm: a named doctor, listed specialist credentials, the opportunity to discuss options or who will perform the procedure. Ask whether requesting someone is possible on your date and whether the consultation and treatment are with the same person. A profile introduces a clinician; it does not by itself confirm that person’s schedule.
Describe the budget as a limit, not a diagnosis
Tell GREY the currency and whether your figure is per person and for the whole visit. Say which conditions matter most if the clinic proposes more than the budget allows. Ask for the included scope and final total before choosing. You do not need to increase your budget merely because an option is presented; discuss alternatives or defer the decision.
Compare the same practical details
For each option, record the branch, clinician arrangements, exact product or device, quoted scope, total, language support and available time. If an item is not confirmed, mark it as pending. An empty field is a question to resolve, not evidence that a clinic is worse. GREY works with its contracted partners rather than claiming to rank every clinic in Korea.
An example of a balanced request
Illustrative enquiry: “Two of us will be in Seoul next month. I want a dermatologist consultation for my concern; my friend already has a treatment in mind. We have separate budgets and would prefer nearby appointments.” This gives GREY practical criteria without assuming both visitors need the same procedure or the same spending level.
What happens next
GREY checks feasible partner-clinic options and appointment conditions. You can ask why an option matches your stated priorities, clarify what is still pending and decide after receiving the details. Booking support is free. A clinic may have deposit conditions, which should be confirmed before you commit. Medical suitability and the final treatment plan are decided by the treating clinician.
