InMode in Myeongdong: Forma, MiniFX and the questions behind a useful quote

Compare Forma and MiniFX appointment scope, written quotes, recovery questions and verified Myeongdong clinic inquiry routes before booking.

An InMode appointment starts with a surprisingly practical question: which handpiece is actually included? Two menus can both say “InMode lifting” while offering different treatment areas, applicators and visit plans. For a visitor trying to fit a consultation into a Seoul trip, those details matter more than an attractive starting price.

This guide helps you request an itemized quote from a named Myeongdong clinic. No numeric price is published here: GREY has not confirmed a current, all-inclusive international booking price. A consultation can also end with a decision to postpone or decline treatment.

1. What Forma and MiniFX tell you about the appointment

InMode is the manufacturer’s name across several technologies. Forma uses bipolar radiofrequency; MiniFX is a different applicator combining radiofrequency and vacuum. The manufacturer also cautions that intended uses vary by country. A generic platform name therefore cannot confirm a Korean facial protocol, its suitability or the result you can expect. InMode Forma, manufacturer technology disclosure.

The AAD describes non-invasive tightening as generally modest and gradual. Ask what that means for your proposed plan. AAD skin-tightening overview.

Ask whether the proposal means Forma alone, MiniFX alone, both in one visit, or something else. If a Korean menu abbreviates a treatment as “FX,” ask the clinic to write the full applicator name. Do not assume that an InMode booking includes Morpheus8, which uses a different approach.

2. Start with the concern you want assessed

A useful inquiry describes your concern in ordinary language: the appearance of your jawline, fullness beneath your chin, or a feeling that skin has become less firm. It need not name a diagnosis. Ask the clinician what they believe is contributing to that concern and what the proposed treatment could realistically change.

Someone concerned about facial volume should specifically ask how the plan accounts for areas they want to preserve. If photographs influence your expectations, ask whether they show the same treatment, a comparable starting point and the same number of visits. Lighting and angle are reasons to ask questions, not evidence that your result will match.

3. The six parts of a comparable quote

Request the following in writing before choosing between clinics:

  • Exact platform and applicator: Forma, MiniFX or both, with a separate description of each component.
  • Treatment boundary: for example, the specific jawline or under-chin area rather than the unexplained phrase “full face.”
  • Session scope: one visit or a course, and how the clinic defines the proposed treatment time or protocol.
  • Total payable amount in KRW, including whether VAT is included and which optional charges remain.
  • Consultation, comfort measures and aftercare: identify what is included and what costs extra.
  • Conditions: branch, clinician choice if applicable, eligibility, validity period, deposit and cancellation terms.

These fields create a fairer comparison than dividing a package price by its advertised minutes. Ask the clinic to separate optional add-ons so you can consider them without losing track of the original request.

4. What a consultation must settle

Send logistical information first: preferred dates, branch and language. Discuss medical details with the clinic through its appropriate intake process. Bring an accurate list of medications, relevant conditions, implants, previous facial procedures and recent skin problems. Do not stop prescribed medication to prepare for a cosmetic appointment without advice from the prescribing clinician.

Ask who will perform the examination, who will deliver each part of treatment, and how consent is explained in a language you understand. An online estimate cannot replace examination or promise that treatment will proceed. Ask for the final plan and total before consenting, especially if the consultation recommends a different device or an additional procedure.

5. Recovery and risks belong in the comparison

Radiofrequency procedures can cause redness, swelling, discomfort and burns; contouring procedures may also cause bruising. Risk depends on the device, area and patient. The FDA’s general guidance is useful background, not confirmation that a particular Korean facial use is authorized. FDA patient guidance.

Ask the treating clinician about expected visible changes, less common complications, and symptoms requiring prompt contact. Obtain written aftercare and an out-of-hours contact route. “Non-invasive” does not establish that you will look photo-ready that evening. Your clinician should provide the recovery guidance for your actual plan, including any restrictions relevant to skincare, exercise or other appointments.

6. Fit the appointment around the whole trip

Give the clinic your arrival and departure dates, any important photography or event, and other planned treatments. Ask whether there is enough time for assessment and any recommended review before departure. A short holiday may not accommodate the proposed series of visits.

Leave room for consultation, interpretation and a change of plan rather than treating a menu’s procedure time as the entire appointment. Before paying for a course, confirm the schedule, expiry, refund conditions and what happens if you cannot return to Korea. Ask how follow-up works once you are home, including whether a concern would require an in-person assessment.

7. Verified Myeongdong routes to ask

Doctor Petit Myeongdong lists InMode on its official treatment menu. DayBeau Myeongdong The Premium and DayBeau Myeongdong Signature also list InMode on their separate official sites. These listings establish an inquiry route; they do not confirm a particular handpiece, appointment or international price. Doctor Petit, DayBeau Premium, DayBeau Signature.

For background, see the GREY InMode treatment directory. Use the corresponding GREY profile: Doctor Petit Myeongdong, DayBeau Myeongdong 1 or DayBeau Myeongdong 2. Keep the branch name on every quote.

8. Frequently asked questions

Does “InMode lifting” always include Forma and MiniFX? No. Ask for the exact applicators and treatment area.

Can I compare a single session with a package? Only after checking each visit’s scope, the number of visits you can attend and the package conditions.

Is the Korean website’s starting price my final price? It may have conditions or a narrower scope. Request a dated, itemized quote for your branch and booking circumstances.

Can GREY tell me which applicator I need? GREY can help organize the inquiry. Clinical suitability and the treatment plan belong to the treating clinician.

9. Request the consultation clearly

On your chosen GREY clinic profile, include your preferred dates, language and concern, then ask: “Please confirm which InMode applicator and area the quote covers, the complete KRW total including VAT and required extras, and whether consultation-only is available.” Ask for the deposit and cancellation terms before paying. A reply to this inquiry is the next planning step, not a confirmed procedure or guaranteed result.
