Girin plans eyelid surgery around the crease, inner and outer corners and the balance of the eyes. Its menu includes natural-adhesion double eyelids, canthoplasty, ptosis correction, revision surgery and under-eye procedures.

How the options differ
Double-eyelid surgery
Creates or reshapes the eyelid crease. A suture method uses internal fixation; an incisional method can also address excess skin or fat. Skin thickness and existing folds affect the choice.
Ptosis correction
Adjusts the eyelid-lifting mechanism when opening strength or lid position is a concern. Making a crease alone does not necessarily correct a drooping lid.
Under-eye surgery
Fat repositioning redistributes bulging fat into hollow areas. Loose skin may need a different or additional operation; pigment-related dark circles may remain.
Examination & procedure
The surgeon examines lid position, skin, fat and eye closure, then marks the design. Anaesthesia and incision placement depend on the operation. Closure and any stitch-removal visit are planned before discharge.
Recovery & aftercare
Bruising, swelling and tightness are common early on. Around two weeks away from work is a general eyelid-surgery guide; residual swelling and scar settling take longer. Follow instructions for cleansing, head elevation and restarting contact lenses or eye makeup.
Limits & possible complications
Possible problems include asymmetry, dry or irritated eyes, visible scars and difficulty closing the eye. Rare bleeding around the eye can affect vision. Discuss existing dry eye and previous eye operations.
Is the listed under-eye programme the same as fat-repositioning surgery?
No. The related laser/injection programme in the price section is non-surgical. It does not include lower-eyelid fat-repositioning surgery; a surgical plan needs its own quotation.

02Nose surgery10 options
Rhinoplasty can address the bridge, tip and nostril proportions together. Girin describes imaging-based planning, including 3D CT and X-ray assessment, to review the nasal structure and choose an approach.

How the options differ
Bridge & tip reshaping
Bone and cartilage may be reduced, repositioned or supported with grafts. Bridge height, tip shape and breathing need to be considered together.
Open & closed approaches
Open surgery adds a small incision across the tissue between the nostrils; closed surgery uses internal incisions. The required changes determine access, rather than a universal “better” method.
Primary & revision surgery
Revision planning includes previous implants, grafts, scar tissue and breathing problems. The materials and scope can differ substantially from a first operation.
Examination & procedure
Examination assesses the outside shape and internal airway; Girin describes imaging-led planning. The agreed procedure may use your own cartilage and/or an implant. Surgery is followed by wound care and, where needed, a splint.
Recovery & aftercare
A splint commonly remains for about a week, and up to two weeks off work may be needed. Bruising improves earlier than the final shape: swelling can settle over several months. Protect the nose from pressure and follow instructions on exercise, glasses and nose blowing.
Limits & possible complications
Risks include bleeding, infection, asymmetry, breathing changes and problems with grafts or implants. A desired photo cannot guarantee an identical result; skin and underlying structure limit what can be achieved.
Can Mini Jelly Nose replace rhinoplasty?
Mini Jelly Nose is a related non-surgical option. It cannot be assumed to reduce nasal bone, correct an airway problem or provide the same structural change as surgery.

How the options differ
Implant augmentation
Adds volume using an implant placed in a planned pocket. Implant dimensions, chest width, tissue coverage and incision location matter as well as cup-size goals.
Fat transfer
Moves fat from another body area to the breast. It also involves fat harvesting, and some transferred fat is reabsorbed; further treatment may be needed.
Lift & reduction
A lift addresses drooping skin and breast position; reduction also removes breast tissue. Adding volume alone may not correct marked sagging. These operations leave different scars.
Examination & procedure
Assessment covers breast measurements, tissue and skin, asymmetry, medical history and screening where indicated. The surgeon agrees the implant or tissue plan, anaesthesia, incision and follow-up before surgery.
Recovery & aftercare
For implant augmentation, one to two weeks off work is a general guide and many usual activities resume around six weeks. Support garments, lifting limits and sleeping position follow the surgeon’s instructions. Other breast operations may have different recovery needs.
Limits & possible complications
Possible problems include infection, altered nipple sensation, asymmetry and scars. Implant-specific issues include rupture and capsular contracture; rare implant-associated lymphoma also needs discussion. Implants are not lifetime devices and may need later surgery.

How the options differ
Cheekbone contouring

Jaw-angle contouring
Reduces selected areas of the lower jaw angle. It changes bone shape; it is different from relaxing an enlarged chewing muscle with injections.
Chin surgery
Changes chin projection, width or position through a planned bone operation. Cheekbone, jaw and chin procedures may be assessed together, but a three-area package is not necessary for everyone.

Is this the same as double-jaw surgery?
No. Cosmetic facial contouring and jaw surgery to correct skeletal bite relationships are different. Tell the surgeon about chewing difficulty, bite problems or orthodontic treatment so the appropriate assessment can be arranged.
