Is it safe to get skin treatment in Korea as a tourist?

A practical checklist for verifying the clinic, understanding who makes medical decisions and keeping a contact route after you return home.

01

Start with a licensed medical institution

Aesthetic injections, prescription treatments and medical devices should be provided by a licensed Korean medical institution and its licensed staff. GREY coordinates visits only with contracted partner clinics and confirms the exact location before you go.

02

Know who is responsible for medical decisions

GREY can explain your request, arrange communication and coordinate the appointment. Diagnosis, suitability, consent, the treatment plan and medical aftercare remain with the treating clinic and its medical professionals.

03

Share relevant history before treatment

Medication, allergies, pregnancy, implants and recent procedures can affect suitability. We help pass the information you provide to the clinic, but the clinic must assess it and may request an in-person consultation before confirming treatment.

04

Keep a follow-up route

If you have a concern after treatment, contact GREY in English. We help explain the concern to the treating clinic and follow up on its response. Seek urgent local medical care immediately for severe or rapidly worsening symptoms.

General planning information only. The treating clinic decides medical suitability, timing and aftercare.
